Where the Water Flows is an artistic research project that explores the profound interconnection between people, land, and cultural identity. It examines how human interaction with the land shapes biodiversity, ecological sustainability, and cultural resilience over time. The project is inspired by the knowledge systems and philosophies of Indigenous communities, to land stewardship, while also drawing connections to local communities in Greece and abroad who continue to live in close relationship with the land. By weaving together archival materials, documentary photography, AI-generated landscapes, and participatory storytelling, the project seeks to capture both historical and contemporary perspectives on the evolving relationship between people and their environment.
