Personal projects: BREAKING WATERS: BREAKING-WATERS_09-low

My name is Sahar Diab and I am18 years old.I gave birth in a hospital in Turkey. They (are jerks) and since I was very young they shouted at me a lot and they treated me like a baby. I was not hit at all but they were very rude with me. They would tell me that I am young and that I have to bare the pain. They shouted at me a lot and I couldn't take it anymore so I started crying and shouting at them too. I even tried to escape so I could not give birth there. They just held me and kept me in. The doctors started telling me that I am very young and they also blamed me for getting married and pregnant. At the beginning a female doctor wanted to labor me but after they had pulled me in the room and tied me to the bed a male doctor came. I tried to escape but I couldn’t.Our journey from Greece to Turkey was very hard. We started at 12 at night and we stayed in the boat for about 5 hours until we reached the shores in Greece. This means that we arrived at 5 a.m. On our way to Greece something happened to the boat so it stopped. The boat stopped for 1 hour and only worked for 5 minutes. All children were put one on top of the other. Mothers started shouting and crying. It was a very bad situation. We all started shouting and praying to God to help us. We even started shouting for Greeks or Turks to come and help us but no one came. We were in the middle of the sea and water was coming into the boat and the children were getting wet and crying. We were calling also for help and they told us that some one would come but no one came. We waited for about 2 hours in the sea. It also started to rain and the waves got higher so water was coming from everywhere into the boat. We took off our shoes and we started filling them with water to empty the boat so we wouldn't sink. We also tried to fix the motor. Our driver didn't know how to drive the boat and we all panicked. We tried everything to empty the boat that was full of water. (In the boat) I gave my daughter to my husband. I just laid my head down and I couldn't understand what was happening. Was it because I slept or I fainted I don't know. When I opened my eyes I saw that the sun had rise and I heard mothers and children crying. There was also a girl that tried to commit suicide by tying a rope around her neck. So my husband reacted. He cut the rope and slapped her on the face so she could wake up. I opened my eyes and I saw myself sitting in front in the boat and that all the other people were in the middle. When I realized that I started shouting. I cried for my daughter and for God to help us. I could also see that the shore was very close. Whoever knew how to swim was able to arrive in two minutes. After that the boat also stopped. Because the boat was full we threw all our stuff into the sea and the women also took off their life vests because they were socked in water.
